Facing the media
Training for:
- Giving successful interviews
- Putting on a successful press conference
- Video coaching
- Maintaining good press relations
Whatever type of media, from live radio and TV or a telephone interview with a newspaper reporter, there is always an element of the unexpected when dealing with journalists.
Managers are used to talking with their employees, clients and partners.
But taking the leap to talking with the media means learning a new set of skills. Without these skills there is the risk of sounding confused, giving contradictory opinions, rambling or accidentally coming out with the wrong piece of information that will take the interview down the wrong path.
And yet a successful interview can bring invaluable public exposure. To get it right, good preparation is imperative. The Mediacoaching method is much more than classic media training in this respect - it helps speakers to acquire and master the techniques needed to clearly express their message for themselves.
